Our 18-19 Brochure will be available in June 2018 when our application process opens.

Most courses are suitable for beginners. What we ask for is enthusiasm, commitment to attend each week, that you join in with activities and complete any homework assignments. Our tutors are skilled at helping you to realise your talents and strengths and will help you to build on any existing skills. If you are a bit rusty or just have a desire to take up something new – our courses are for you!

The qualification is evidence based meaning that there are no exams and that the focus will be on what you have demonstrated through your art which could be recorded on video, audio or by photograph. Some writing will be required and literacy support can be provided if necessary.

On completion of the course you will achieve

  • A nationally recognised qualification (Level 2 Certificate in Skills for Working in Creative and Design Industries)
  • Transferable skills for employment (working as a team, communication skills; time management and attendance)
  • Personal skills (improved confidence, increased social circle, self-expression)

Progression Routes include

  • Further Community Learning
  • Mainstream Further Education (Level 3)
  • Volunteering
  • Employment

You will be able to register your interest from July 2019 on an Expression of Interest Form that will be available here.
