Drawing & Painting

On this course you will learn different techniques in drawing and painting, drawing inspiration from your imagination, nature, the human form and the work of past and living artists.  You will explore different media including pencil, charcoal and ink and explore colour and texture using pastels, paints and mixed media.  You will develop your own sketch book to record your creative learning journey.

Materials will be provided (although there may be a small extra charge for canvases and paint).

  • Communication Skills for Group & Teamwork


Day:  Monday Time:  1:30 – 4:30pm
Venue:  The Meadows Community Centre, 1 St Catherine’s Road, Cambridge, CB4 3XJ
Lead Tutor: Jill Eastland

A 36 week course  leading to a Level 2 Certificate in Skills for the Creative Industries. At the end of the course you will have the opportunity to exhibit your work to the public. Starts 5th September 2016 with a second intake in January 2017 if places are available.

    Dear CCA,

    WIll there be any short courses available early July for young 16 year old art students? Alternatively do you know any private classes that would be possible to joint for a few days in early July?
