Course content

In this course, you’ll explore different techniques and media such as pencil, charcoal, ink, pastels, paints and mixed media. Learning about artists, as well as a little art theory, will help to inform and inspire your work. You will be encouraged to experiment and play in order to develop your own practice and style.

Each week is different and will involve a mixture of classroom and individual learning, drawing inspiration from nature, your imagination, the human body and the work of past and living artists. We’ll visit art galleries to help spark your imagination and you’ll have the opportunity to show your work as part of a public exhibition.

I’ve developed techniques and confidence to try things. Fallen in love with art again.
