Course content

In this course, you’ll spend some time getting to know your digital audio workstation (DAW) and learn how to manipulate sound and music. We use freely accessible software that you can use at home, and we cover a whole range of techniques, allowing you to sample, remix and develop your own original compositions. You’ll also learn how to use recording equipment for audio production. There is a mixture of both independent and collaborative work, and there will also be an opportunity to visit a working music studio.

After the course, I feel I am more able to make my ideas into music
— William, Music Production

What to bring

Bring your own laptop if you like, or use one of our Macs, and we’ll provide all other hardware and software.
