Do you want to create positive change in your community by
empowering people creatively?

If you want to share your artistic passion and inspire others to realise their creative potential, then this is the course for you! This intensive, practical and accessible course will enable you to design and deliver high quality arts activities to a diversity of community groups. Alongside other Creatives you will learn how to work safely and well, looking after yourself and others. You will learn best practice from experienced experts, have fun sharing creatively with each other, and through a placement in the community.  By the end of the course, you will be ready to offer your own creative workshop and be part of a supportive creative network.

CCA is a leading arts for health provider in Cambridgeshire. With over 10 years of experience we have developed exceptional practices and supported over 2000 creative journeys and over 61 creative tutors. This is challenging and rewarding work. We want to share our knowledge to empower artists and creatives to do more of this, well.

“In working as a creative tutor for CCA I have found a supportive home, a network and family. CCA have been a professional yet personable organisation with a heart for care and community. In running courses I have been a part of many creative journeys discovering the importance of art both in my learners and myself as a practicing artist.”

“I feel very privileged to be working with CCA and have done so for the past three years. For me it has opened up new doors and shown me insights that I had not seen before. Primarily, the fact that teaching vulnerable people is very rewarding, what you give as a tutor, you get it back tenfold with your learners. Yes, it can be challenging but you are never on your own as help is always at hand. CCA not only looks after the learners but the tutors too. I believe that it is an invaluable asset to the local community and beyond."
