Cambridge Community Arts hiring an Interim Chief Executive Officer after founder takes career break

Since 2014, Cambridge Community Arts (CCA) has developed into a social inclusion charity that has empowered over 2,000 people creatively, by supporting personal growth and improving health through quality creative arts activities.

After founding the charity 10 years ago, in Spring 2024 the CEO of CCA, Jane Rich, will begin a two year career break.

Jane said: “I am so proud of what CCA has become and achieved over the last decade. It truly is a creative and caring community. After 10 years of living and breathing the charity, the Board of Trustees have kindly offered me a two-year career break to refresh. I am going to use the time to be more creative, learn some new skills and spend more time with my family.”

CCA is now searching for a CEO (two year, fixed term contract) to lead the charity during that time, providing continuity for learners, staff and partners and visionary strategic planning for the future.

The successful candidate will lead CCA from its 10th anniversary in March 2024 to its next chapter, directly improving the quality of life of our communities across Cambridge, Fenland, and the surrounding areas.  Joining CCA at this exciting time will also give the responsibility for creating and leading the vision and strategic planning to boost CCA for success in 2024-2026 and beyond, enabling the Interim CEO to make a discernible impact.
